In 1971 a contest was sponsored by the Student Council to choose a design for our school flag. The flag was pro- duced in 1972 and has become an important factor in our school morale . In the fall of 1973 , the PTA raised the money to purchase a mascot. This mascot, a wooden Beaver is placed in the hall with the flag for our visitors and students to observe . A Dedica Hon The theme for this year's Rose Petal is The Shape of Things. The Shape of Things to come in the future depends largely upon the teachings that we have received during our years at Glen Rose . It is to a person who has contributed so much to our education that we dedi- cate this annual. We feel that he has done more than his share in contribut- ing to our school. Not only does he make his classes interesting , but he also has exciting hobbies which he likes to share with the students. The quality of the photography in our annual is the result of his time and efforts. The Senior Class of 1975 dedicates the Rose Petal, to you Mr. Brazil, because without you it would have been impossible to produce.
