For twenty-six years he gave unstintingly of his time and ef- fort as a member of the Glen- olden School Board. At the time of the erection of our own Glen-Nor High School. he was serving as its president. In honor of his many years of un- selfish endeavor in behalf of local boys and girls. it was only fitting that the new sports grounds be named the Frank H. Roberts Athletic Field. No greater memorial can be erected than this which has al- ready been dedicated to him. Glen-Nor students and faculty members were shocked to learn of the sudden death of Mr. Daniel H. Englehart on February 13. Yes, he had been sick, very sick, but he had rallied. In fact, he was out at a bas- ketball game only the previous Friday night. Then- he was gone. For twenty-four years Danny, as he was known to all, served the school faithfully--first as a member of the original school board and then as chief custo- dian. Arriving in the morning before anyone else and leaving at night after everyone else, he served effi- ciently and cheerfully. Constantly he was on the job and Willing to lend a hand. In spite of impaired health as a result of a heart condition, Mr. Love willingly accepted the responsibil- ity placed upon him by the community's citizens in be- ing elected to the joint Glen-Nor High School Board. As a member he zealously fulfilled the duties connected with the chairmanship of the Properties Committee and the Vice-Presidency. No praise can be adequate for this man who served the school so faithfully. Endeared to all who knew him, his opinions were highly respected. Faculty and student body alike pay homage to the memory of a great friend. MR. W. A. LOVE Av., ! A fa .91-,
