. . . Drive Toward Their Goal The Glen Lake Laker football team ended the season with a 2-4-1 Conference record and a 2-5-1 overall. The non-conference game being a 14-0 loss to Lake City, opening the season schedule. The inexperienced Lakers began to improve their playing as the season progressed. Tlie varsity placed two men on both the offensive and defensive All-Conference football team: these being Dave Gillen and Steve Fryer on offen- sive; and Dave Gillen and Tom Savage on defen- sive. Steve Fryer was named Most Valuable Player on this year's team. Congratulations to these fine young men and also to the entire team for their enthusiasm and team work throughout the season. 19
