Ski Club Ski Club Membership soared to 65 this year. Presiding officers were as follows: Allen Jankowski, President; David Novak, Vice President; Tom Schmidt, Treasurer; and Jeannine Garthe, Secretary. Mr. Moore was adviser and Miss Buell was a faithful chaperone. Thursday evenings were designated as Ski Night throughout the season. Once the skiers arrived at Timberlee Hills, the professionals hit the slopes on their own, while the amateurs were guided to perfection by Timberlee's capable instructors. Shanty Creek Lodge near Bellaire was the setting for the big trip of the season. The students began this day with a bus ride from the school. After a long, hard day which resulted in bruised bottoms and many sore ankles, the skiers returned to school. All were tired but very happy to have been a part of such an exciting day. 27
