National Honor Society Three Glen Lake seniors and seven juniors were inducted into the National Honor Society at a special ceremony held in the high school cafeteria. The new members are Deborah Peplinski, Agnes Shimek, and Vicky Zimmerman, all seniors; and Jennifer Barr, Mary Jo Bolton, Lori Burry, Kathleen Flaska, Garth Greenan, Thomas Harriger, and Nancy Stanz, all juniors. The initiation ceremony was conducted by Ross Cate, President; Michael Bolton, Vice President; Chris Pleva, Secretary; Carl Miller, Treasurer; Tim Sutherland, Chris Swierad, and Gail VanderNoot. The program was presented by Mr. Harold Sweeny speaking on the importance of character, leader- ship, service, and scholarship. The new advisors for this year's National Honor Society are Mr. and Mrs. Bion Rockwell. 15
