Where's Joe ?--On second thought ... YOU didn't listen to that man at the yearbook conference—Mr. Tarsa! Call them in for a picture, and there are eighteen staff members; call them in to work after school, and there are Barb, Claudette, Larry, and Susan. We can't find anything nice to say about the teachers. You're cropping too much; there has to be a little on top--of their heads, that is. Gee, that's a good picture of _________! You're not supposed to use last year's copy for a guide. Let's call it Jakielek's Junk Page. Where's the picture of Barb sticking her tongue out? Does anyone care if we put the prom pictures after the ad section? Guess what? I forgot the film. Did you remind Mr. Sweeny to ask for snapshots? We're still missing three teachers' pictures. How many pages came back? Must we really have a yearbook? 39 Cercie Fran £ ais (French Club) Adviser Mademoiselle Carlisle FRONT ROW: (L toR) Carolyn Czerniak, Doug Manning, Susan Jakielek, Francis Fradd, Martha Clark; SECOND ROW: Susan La- Vanture, Janet Smith, Bonnie Ray, Barbara Waslawski; THIRD ROW: Robert Peplinski, Dennis Whitten, John Tobin, John Dean, David Drzewiecki, Bob Flaska. Guilty conscience Tucker? Homecoming: A Favorite The Homecoming Court (From L to R) Janice Beaman, Karen Glazier, Queen Sue Fisher, Vickie Manning, Karen LaVanture. Glen Lake vs. Kalkaska The Homecoming Game began with a kick-off by Glen Lake. The first quarter was scoreless. The second quarter was touched off by Kasky's breaking away with the first score. On the return kick-off, Lakers fumbled and Kasky made good usage and scored again. The Lakers then came alive with a touchdown. Laker's next score came after they had recovered Kasky's fumbled ball, tying the score at half-time. Kalkaska pushed ahead in the third quarter. Lakers last chance to tie the game came in the fourth quarter at their own 10 yd. line. A fumble diminished their hopes, however, and Kalkaska went on to win the game with a score of 26 —14. The yearbook staff has concluded that Kalkaska should have stayed in the shower room at half time. 44 Annual Event One picture is worth a thousand words. Shown here is the lovely Queen, Sue Fisher, and her escort Owen Faust. Dancing by candlelight and music by The Horizons focused the mood of the evening.
