Moonlight, stars and candlelight made a very romantic settirg in the Garden of Flowers. A delicious dinner was served, consisting of Flower Nectar, Pastoral Beauty, Snowball Blossoms, Berries and Petals, Rainbows, Stepping Stones, Moss, Lover's Delight, Garden Pebbles and Murky Pool. The following program was conducted by George Betz, Master of the Garden. Second row: Carol Casey, Howard Cooper, Richard Dean, Duane Wiss Max Studer, Ronald Studer, Charley Fisher, Bob Cunning- ham, and Harold German. Coach Hampton, Douglas Margreiter, George Betz, Newell Eberle, Arlen Treaster, Everett Linton, and Bill Eberle. The football squad of 1946 began practice on September 2nd. Twenty five boys began practice. The squad lost seven letter men through gradu- ation the year before. The Co-captains for 1946 were Duane Wiss and Max Studer, the ones elected for the next year are Ronald Stuber and George Betz. The season record was seven games won, one tied, and one lost. On December 6, the boys and Coach Hampton were honored by a ban- quet sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce.
