ll snub .a...l ILAIGIIK 'p ll 9417' DAD - DAUGHTER FRDLIC A very enioyable party took place at the Grade School Auditorium Mon day, March 31, when the Y-Teen girls and their dads gathered there to enjoy an evening of fun together. Candle, balloon, potato, and egg relays proved very exciting. The girls played against their dads in volley ball and basketball. Several other games were played. Each girl brought a sack lunch and the Y-Teen service committee served an ice-cold drink. Everyone greatly enjoyed the evening. MOTHER - DAUGHTER BANCIUET The Y-Teens of G.len Elder High School entertained their mothers and the Y.,W. C. A. members at a Mother Goose Banquet on May 8. The room was decorated with Mother Goose characters and blue and white streamers. Each table was decorated with water sprinklers as nut cups, miniature Mother Goose characters, tall candles, and bouquets of carnations. The Y. W. C. A. mystery mothers brought gifts and revealed their daughters. In return they were each given a carnation. Carnations were also given to each of the Y-Teen girls' mothers.
