Junior-Senior card party. First basketball games, at Osborne. We were defeated. Senior pictures arrived. G. R. Christmas party. Community Christmas program. Christmas chapel and school dismissed. Christmas. Kathleen Kohler receives sparkler. . 1' . JANUARY New Year. School begins again. Bearcats take two games from Simpson. Burr Oak proves too much for G. E. H. S. Senior announcements and cards arrive. Bearcats walk over Huntsmen. Emporia tests. Simpson defeats our first team. G. E. H. S. wins from Osborne. Bearcats take thriller from Downs. Cawker game easily won. Courtland downs Bearcats. Wanda Taylor takes over typing classes. St. J ohnis Blue Jays accept defeat from Bearcats. FEBRUARY Spring should arrive--no sun for ground hog! Bearcats smash Huntsmen. Thriller favors us at Burr Oak. G. E. H. S. takes Blue Jays. Bearcats smear Cawker Pirates. Dan Cupid extra busy today. 1546. G. E. Bearcats again county tournament champs. 'llllluef auilrluali lllllfllililli CLASS WILL We, the seniors of Glen Elder High School being of sound f?J mind, good physiques, mentally brilliant, and excellent students, do hereby make and declare this our last will and testament to the run-down, weak-mind ed underclassmen, knowing that there will never be another class like ours, CHI-Iere's hoping, says the prof.J Item I. To the Junior class, knowing that they will never be the class that we are, we will dignity, our brilliant minds, our wit, our manners, our places and textbooks in American History, knowing that they can never cause the trouble we did, and here's hoping they know whether they passed or not before graduation. Item II. To the Sophomore class we leave our sincere hopes that they will overcome their foolish ways so as to become the dignified seniors that we have been. ,, Item III. To the Freshmen--we leave them with their babyish ways. Item IV. We, the Seniors bequeath our individual talents in the fol- lowing manner: I, Jo Beyer, will my pleasing manner and dimples to Emojeans'.Clark, and Ernojean, be sure to use them on the teachers. I, Bob Boller, will my success and career as a hunter to Newell Eberle, I, Rose Mary Carl, will my becoming giggles to Dorothy Barnett. I, Richard Cooper, will my irresistible personality to Monk Thurston, knowing he will make good use of it. I, Rosemary Cooper, will my ability to make friends with and keep up the moral of all servicemen to Virginia Albert. I, Margie Dickinson, will my ability as a pianist to Donna Jones. I, Max Eberle, will my intelligent looks to Joe Morris, feeling assured he will use them to the best advantage. I, Mary Fenner, will my ability as a good normal training student to Bonnie Bru nnemer. I, Marie Finley, will my man-hunting tactics to Roberta Brown, know- ing she will never be able to keep up my record. I, Norma Jean Fritchen, will my nice ability to laugh at everything to Marceline Wideman. I, Bob Glauser, will my ability to ignore girls and still have more of them than the other boys to Keith Neifert. I, Kathleen Kohler, will my ability to be engaged to any girl who can qualify. I, Keith Kohler, will my little black notebook to Bob Oakley, since I'rn not here to use it. I, Bob Lee, will my red hat to Doug Margreiter, knowing that it will bring out his dashing personality as it has mine. I, Elwyn Kresin, will my ability to argue any teacher out of anything at any time to my loving nephew, Ron Studer.
