The band, under the able direction of Miss Martha Thomasson, provided a note of variety at their half-time exhibitions this year. The Green Wave, a perennial Skyline power with a light- ning-fast secondary and a stout forward wall, continued dominance on the gridiron by battering Andrews, 21-6, for the Class ' 'A crown. Under the tutoring of head coach Ralph Wilson, who is in his 14th year at Glen Alpine, and assistant coach, Lane Arrington, the Wave have won twenty-four consecu- tive games.
