Dedication Our symphony begins with an overture . .the Senior Class of Glen Alpine High School gratefully dedicates the ''Turkey Tail of 1956to... Miss Martha Thomasson, the head of our music department. Patience, long hours, and physicaland mental toil are partofherdaily schedule. She has accom- plished much, and noone is more deserving than she, Her persistence is rewarded by the results of her labors. ‘Give a child not only a book he can read, and teach him to read it,but give him also a horn he can blow, and teach him to blow it. Horn blowing, too, is education.
