DEDICATION . . . To Miss Mary Eloise Smith, our teacher and friend, we take pleasure in dedicating The 1948 Turkey's Tail. Her undying interest in the sports of Glen Alpine and her genuine and enthusiastic interest in all school activities are only a few of the qualities which make her so admirable.
