SCHEDULE GLEN ALPINE 0 MAIDEN 25 GLEN ALPINE 0 TAYLORSVILLE 6 GLEN ALPINE 0 GRANITE FALLS 35 GLEN ALPINE 6 TAYLORSVILLE 6 For a team which had never played any football, Glen Alpine did surprisingly well, losing two games to Granite Falls and Maiden by rather large scores, and playing Taylorsville to a 6-0 loss and a 6-6 tie. Granite Falls and Maiden were simply out of our class. They both were heavy and experienced teams, and Taylorsville was out- played in both games. The prospects for a good team in the years to come are excellent. Only four regulars will be lost by graduation this year. One of those is Don Price, who represented our team in the Optimist Bowl at Asheville, North Carolina. 23
