THE BAND The band has grown from nine members at the beginning of the year to its present member- ship of twenty-two players who have appeared before assemblies and PTA meetings. The band is well instrumented with trumpets, trombones, alto horns, baritone horns, tuba, clarinets, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and baritone saxophone. Goals for next year are to have a marching band which will play for athletic events and to start a campaign to raise money for uniforms. { 61 }
