I had no idea tlzat Connie Graves and Bettie Davies would be your able assistants. Wlgr, ten years ago, both of thenz were .struggling with their Spanish course in high school. When I learned that they are married to professors who teach at the Universigr, I decided that tlze old saying Time Changes Evegfthingu is most certainly true. I knozv those two must have had a lot to do zvith your tanning a class reunion. The space tj ten years has made many dejinite changes in the lives of those who graduated no-on Glen Allen High School in 7947. just the other deg' I learned that Gloria Abernatlyr married the young man to whom she was engaged immediately after graduation and that tlze hapfyr couple are buying a home on Adonurnent Avenue. Ralph Graves has become the rave singer rj the nation. In fact, his popularigr has surpassed that of our old idol, Frank Sinatra. I zvas told that Joanne Butler has become a top fashion model in New Tork and is expecting alHolbrwood contract at ary' time. Her abiligr to wear lzer clothes well has certainbr brought her success. - Shirlqr Foster is a zVletropolitan Opera singer and is now on vacation in Monte Carlo. She is the zvye of a well-known pianist. Austin Somerville completed his theological course and received his doctor's degree. He is now considering a call to become pastor of a prominent Richmond church. Drewgr Collins is a very succesjul Congressman and is accomplishing great things for the .state rj Virginia through his eloquence and outstanding abiligr in politics. Aubrey' Dagliano and Norma Tibbs have become the dancing sensation of the continent. They have made .several cross-county' tours and are now making a movie in Holbrwood. Cliford Adams is the popular coach tj U. C. L. A. He has received much praise for his splendid coaching of the nation's top foot- ball team cj the year. Doris Burton has taken over the part ry' ''.5b11tlz-tSea-Island-Beauty, made popular by Dorothy Lamour. Her success is mounting with each movie she makes. The Fessler, Flippin and Ifooger beaugr shop was recently awarded a plaquevfor being the most modernized in the county. Howard Robertson did complete his course in engineering at Duke and is now working on a big bridge project. Nong: Reardon is a veg' succes-jul business woman. She is tlze secretary of tier husband's large clothing concern in Chicago. Tomngr Nuckols is happily married and the proud father rj two little bryrs. The family is living in Norfolk zvhere Tomnyr is in business. Leslie Sheppard is gaining prestige as one of the nations most successful shipbuilders and launched his twentieth ship last week. bday Trice, the wife of one of Virginia's prominent auctioneers, lives on a 500-acre tobacco Afarm in Louisa Coungr. Daniel Harniltonfs invention, The Hamilton, is an expertly constructed car, and is fast becoming the most popular on the market. Norma Hawkins is-fashion editor rj Vogue magazine. She was married last year to a New York novelist. Raymond Taylor is assisting the prryessor of plyrsics at Harvard, and is experimenting in using atomic energy in everyday lye. joyce Adeador married a swimming instructor and they are making their home in Florida.
