Q14 7 NSFQOPL5 The girls pictured here represent the sports set of G H S for the year 1944 the sports being Field Hockey Soccer Basketball Volley Ball and Baseball This year these girls including a greater number of underclassmen than usual showed an extraordinary interest in sports The underclassmen espe cially the Freshmen have shown stronger competition this year than weve seen in former years All ot the girls this year as in oth r years have displayed both good sportsmanship and fair play at all times Most of the girls have been striving to get their school letters at the end ot their Iunior year rather than at the end ot their Senior year which 1S the usual case It calls for hard work but with the spirit and initiative ot these girls, they will have nothing to fear, for they have what it takes. Due to cold weather last fall and the increase in the number of girls participating, we are able to report the outcome of only Field Hockey, which brought victory to the Seniors, crowning them as champions in Field Hockey. ...QL tr, 1 ii in H QNX -'i f ...gb Get daily shaves ln comfort SPECHI SHAVINt PREPARATION I ROTECTS YOUR QKIN Needs no brush Bot stuln or ffreasyf OR mtn mth tendu sltm dally shaymg can he a soulee of painful IITIIHIIOII Yet modem llfe demands that many men must sll ne ezery day It was to htlp solu llllb proylem that Thel B Wllll3H1S fompany per leeted Chder A rmh sootlunf sh nm cream bhder I9 hlu n xanlshlng, cream ll s not stlclts I rta I' any to use ln usm lhdtr first mash your fam thoroughly mth soap md hot mater to remove grit and oll flthlll the Slxlll that tolleet onwhlslters men 7lhours Then spread on Cllder quleltly and easily mth your fin ers nfur I1 brush anlly 1 dt IIIUUIIS d un flaky top layer of your slun lt enables thc razor s sharp tdfff. to glnla ou r tha face Luttxngofltaeh Lomplt ttlx oltencd xxhlslter at the sltm line Illfllllllf scraping or zrnlafwn Flunumhvt danger o rvqua-nl slmung, For men who shau dally huslm ssmen laws: rs doctors st rum mt n and oth: rs uss and ehmmatts the dan ers fu quent shaunv may ham tor the ltndn sltm Illt,3NCSW0llI'f3ft'fttllYl smoother loolung, cleaner Cllder was dex eloped by ll J li Vt llllams Company makers of flne shaun prt paratlons for mel 100 ytav- ,Z1 01504 aufflau T lil fry Iflh ay ' 0 3 U I 1.1 'Y W A A A Y J K - r. 1.
