'To each student there opens One Way', Wa5's, and another Way, The High Soul ascends the High Way, The Low Soul descends the Low, And in between these two extremes The rest meander to and fro. To each student there opens A High XVay and a Low, And each student must deficit The Vsfay his Soul shall go. Clitoiuzia W. WRlc:HT Supervising Principal Un this day of your commencement-he more concerned with the marks on your character than with the marks on your report card. The Master Teacher is the still, small voice within you. Though you are leaving school and other teachers, you are not leaving Him. He will never leave you. That is why you need not regret that you have not learned enough in high school or that you can' not go to college. That is why you need not fear the University of Life, in which you are commencing. That Teacher whom you are not leaving tonight. or ever leaving, knows ALL the answers and will give them ALI.. to you gladly, free of charge, just for the asking. Life is as simple as that. Leox C. Llrrz Principal The world is placing its future hopes in you to do much hetter than the generation preceding you. Yours is the heritage of hringing order out of extreme social and economic chaos to insure the posf sihility of the survival of the race. I am most hopeful for the future hecause I he- lieve that you, the new generation with your ideas and the courage to face facts fearlessly and honestly, will find real solutions which are hased upon the principles underlying a democracy. Practice con- tentment, optimism, and keep the glow of good things in your heart and when you need a friend, COIIIL' to see me. May I wish the class of I947 great success in all its undertakings and may the memhers always look hack upon their stay in lllasshoro High School with pleasure. MiLToN W.
