. . . tribute to our dministration. MISS MARGARET ARMSTRONG Assistant Principal Miss Armstrong, our assistant principal, is a great asset to our high school. Through her understanding and guidance, she helps the new students adjust at Glass. Not only does she help the new students, but she also helps the Juniors with their plans for the coming year and directs the College Boards and Scholarship Qualifying Tests for the Seniors. Besides these important duties, she also finds time to help us with our aches and apainsl' in the infirmary. We feel very fortunate to have Miss Armstrong here at Glass. MR. J.WINSTON MILAM Assistant Principal Our Mr. Milam fills two important roles at Glass, doing each equally well: he is Dean of Boys and an excellent Civics teacher. His patience, wisdom, humor and keen sense of fair play have endeared him to all of us who know him. Each of us will remember him as a personal friend who never is too busy to share our problems and our joys. Our hats are off to Mr. Milam, one of the very finest at Glass. ANNE GRAHAM, Secretary, Senior Class. Although Miss McIvor is new to the job of Dean of Girls, her clear thinking and ability have certainly earned her this posi- tion on our faculty. Whether a student's problem is large or small, he is assured of a thoughtful, practical solution when he enters her office for consultation. For these reasons, and many more, Miss McIvor commands the respect of each and every student and is indeed a credit to our high school. GREG ROBERTSON, President, Senior Class. SARAH BAILEY, Vice-President, Senior Class. I MISS SHIRLEY MCIVOR Dean of Girls U51

Cut seniors pay . . . Mr. McCue, as our principal, assumes the responsibility of co-ordinating and solidifying -all school functions and activities to produce an effective and outstanding educational program, blending in correct proportion the emphasis on athletic, academic, and extra-curricular panticipation. He accomplishes these tasks with a sound judgment and ai devoted spirit that have won him the respect and admiration of both student body and faculty. Not only does Mr. McCue carry out these difficult administrative duties, but he also finds time to give both students and faculty members the benefit of his educational experience with individual counseling and guidance. Our principal's work, however, does not stop here, for he must constantly be a representative for our school, attending numerous P. T. A. and local civic meetings in order to insure the fulfillment of policies conducive to our best interests. Truly, we are fortunate to have Mr. McCue with us and extend to him our sincere appreciation for his years of outstanding service. MALCOLM MCGREGOR, President, Student Council. l14l MR. L. H. MCCUE, JR. Principal
