Bliss Courtney VYilkinson. into the doors of li. C. Glass High School. So terrific was the wind that its breezy gale scattered like fall leaves these newest members of our high school on every floor putting them in lil, B2, ll7. ll9. Zl9 and 317. liewildered but courageous these Freshmen valiantly began preparing themselves for autunm's harvest, commencement four years later. Nineteen of them adjusted so well to their class room work that they made the term honor roll. Fifty-tour of them began this first year to be interested in and take part in sports and clubs in the school. .Xs a class they chose early in the fall their o fticers: President. llelen Casperg Yice-President, 'lied Powers: Secretary. .Xnn XYood: and Treasurer, Jimmie XYade. These oflicers with represen- tatives froni each home room comprised the Freshmen Council. The council planned and carried out social gatherings for the class. the first being a Sock Dance held on February eighth. l14l
