Class Proplhec 11 Well, I declare! As the time draws nearer to when I will see all the old friends of G.H.S., I become more and more excited. Wfhom will I find? Will I know them? What will they be doing? These and a hundred more questions come to my mind as I draw nearer home. 11 As I step off the plane, I notice a sign that reads Hatton's Hangar-Planes to Rent -Cheepf' My luggage is taken from my hand and I turn, expecting to see an unknown porter and am surprised to see Vernie Berg-Chief Blue Cap of the Johnson, Leedham, Ramsbacher, and Wright Porter Service. 11 I step into a cab of the Shipp as Shipp Cab Co. I notice that Ramona is driving and Delores has her fist stuck in the exhaust pipe-undoubtedly so no one gets gassed. 11 As we tear down the street, I notice la long line of women-Nylons? No-Bundy's Clinic -Office hours 1 to 5 A. M. Next door, w-aiting for Dave's patients to pass in after they have passed out is Digger Don Phay, shouting Come now-you'1l be coming later, and at present we have reduced rates-Our prices being no s-tiffer than our customers. 11 Standing on the street corner on an old soapbox we find our town mayor, Lillian Dick, yelling, Vote for me and I'll keep enough water in the underpass so your children can go swimming instead of wading. Happily throwing tomatoes at her is Sheriff Gracie. Her henpecked husband, Billy Srternhagen stands straight and tall beside her, regardless of the bunch of squalling brats tugging at his side, yelling, Daddy, I want an ice cream cone, Daddy, can I have a sucker? Daddy, Brother hit me, and much more. 11 Galloping by me on a charging white steed is Dot Briggs, Queen of the Stables, with Agnes Fuhrman a close second. 11 Here comes the football squad-how queer-they all look like Bettye Bruce. Fullback- Charles I, Halfback-Charles II, Quarterback-Charles III, Right Guard-Charles IV, Left Guard-Charles V, and so on down the line. Following up the team is the band, consist- ing of Dee and Donna, who are now home after playing a two day stand in Wolf Point with the Frazer Phil-Harmonica Orchestra -they're getting up in the musical world. Another star is the now-famous opera singer, Lizzie Ann Ha1't, who is playing at the Rio Theatre in Smoke Got In Our Eyes. 1T The Dozen are still in hot pursuit of Tobe Miller. Here they come down the street yelling, Oh! for that man! but from the looks of things, he is still getting away. 11 A sign ahead reads, Are You Lonely? I cope with all your problems personally, you lucky women, so don't get anxious-Butch's Fun House. 11 What's this-looks like a bank has just been robbed. Gracie's right on the job-she's hanging up a sign that reads- Six-Gun Glenn Johnson-wanted for murder, robbery, embezzling, counterfeiting, smuggling, and worst of all, disobeying traffic rules. 11 Who is this fat guy coming down the street? He must be someone new-is he ever a tub! Well my golly! It's Roy Harwood! How people do change. Here come a bunch of cowboys from Blanche's Ranch, the most exclusive ranch in Montana, where the dudes ride licensed, thoroughbred broken down nags. 11 Here's -a window display of books, 'How to develop your figure, by ImoJean Fuhrman, the Power's Model-Hubba, Hubba! ! 11 Here comes a tall blonde. They really build them high out here! Oh no! It's Dot Kuehn. She carries a sign. Do you like to go out -evenings? Well, leave your children with us. We specialize in men from twenty-five to thirty. Kuehn's Classy Chassis Baby Sittersf' 11 Well! Someone recognizes me, I think. Yes, I'm Nellie-Yes, Nell Collins. No. I'm not on stilts-I'm all mee-all six feet-seven of me! .41-
