Richard Estrem entered the army in 1945 and is now in Paris. PFC Douglass Jenks of the Marines entered the service in August, 1945 and is now at Guam. Beverly cBevJ Baker is now at Seattle, Washington. She left the summer of '45, Doris Moe also left the summer of '46 and now goes to school in Lewistown. Leona tMicKeyJ McPherson left her sophomore year and now lives in Shelton, Washington. Jane Simonton left before her sophomore year and now is in Vermillion, South Dakota. Myrtle Miller, now of Peerless, left during her Junior year. Tj-1 Richard Schroeder entered the Army in April, 194-6 and is now at Tokyo. Private Cecil Dykstra, now at Augusta, Georgia, entered the paratroopers in October, 1946. .David Vallandigham and Bob Collins now both of California, left before they entered Senior High. If these people hadnft left, they would be graduating with us this year. HOME ECONOMICS 9 Our Home Economics Club is now affiliated with the State and National Home Ec. Clubs. Their name is Future Homemakers of America. Cur club has thirty-five members. Officers in front row, left to right are: Charlotte Manning, retiring Presidentg Mary Kay Holland, Presidentg Ardice Bowles, Vice Presidentg La Vonne Schellinger, Miss Marjorie Caffrey, Sponsorg Myrtle Baynham, Nadine Snyderg Floradell McKay, Secretaryg and Sue Mann, Treasurer. This year the girls Went to Medicine Lake for the Dis- trict Home Ec. Convention. ment. The girls work in units-4 to 6 in a unit. Girls, could something be burning? , . f 77 . This is a year-round project and the girls make these centerpieces for banquets and various other occasions. They have had many good results. -30- 0 Home Ec. II girls demonstrating the correct way to spend a social afternoon. This gathering is taking place in the din- ing room of the Home Ee. Department, where the teachers are sometimes served coffee and cake by these girls.
