GIRLS' PHYSICAL ED Q Pyramid building and tumbling have a major part in the Physical Education class. 0 Girls taking part in a game of basket ball. Q An eighth grade class practicing floor formations. Girls taking Physical Education strive to develop posture, muscular coordina- tion, and live cleaner, happier lives by Well-rounded knowledge of all the sports, and from health instruction. Physical Ed. is required five days a week for all girls with the exception of 1 those taking band. One day a week is devoted to the study of health. l The extensive program the G-Iasgow Physical Ed. girls follow includes marching and drill tactics, calisthen- ics, games, tumbling, indi- vidual and team sports. 2 Q Miss Aurora Muske, Girls Q Form, skill, and self-confidence are developed from Physical Education Instructor apparatus work. shoots for a basket. -25.-

This chapter has placed in the Silver Division of the Best Dairy Program contest for the last three years.
