THE SCOTTY,GLASGOW,MONTANA Page5 Scotty -Speaks for Glasgow Kiddies I-lil Mister Santa, it's Scotty who's speaking, Out west where winds blow and chimneys are creaking. But we hope when you feel this fast moving air, You'll say, Well, Montana, you must still be there. These bright looking faces so full of good cheer Are Glasgow school childreng we've lots of them here. There's five or six hundred, a few more or less, fl'm not a good counter. If you want to, l guess, You could ask Mr. lrle to give you the score, For he's good at numbers and lots of things more., These tots like their teachers and their lessons, too: At least, thatis what they told me to write in to you. Misses Kleppin and Brandon, Pierron, Mangus and Seaton Say they're good at their reading-can hardly be beaten. Misses Senzek and Riordan, and Mr. Foote, too, Believe lessons are done just as you'd want them to do. Misses Overby, Olson and Egan and more, All think you should bring good things galore. Miss Swindler, who teaches geography here, Says the students try hard to conquer the sphere. Misses johnson and Hilton agree with the rest, You should bring in your pack a lot of the best. And Mr. Brunette, who helps us with singing, Says Glasgow will shine when carols are ringing. So, l'll be on hand when you come to town Right here at each chimney when you're coming down. When all the coast's clear, l'll wiggle my tail, Then you fill the socks to the top without fail. fKids do pull my tail and throw snowballs at times But Christmas is Christmas, so fill up the stockings and l'll ring the chimesj We're poor, but we're hopeful, Old Santa, you see, Oh, yes, could you bring, please, just one bone for me?
