ONE POPULAR SPOT IN C. H. S. -AND WHY Qi fax?-.xv 4.i , Home Ee. ll girls at tea. HIS year approximately l00 girls are taking Home Eco- nomics l, I1 and III. For the first time in the history of Home Ec there is a third year course. The girls served at banquets for the M. E.. A. convention last fall, for the F. F. A. father and son banquet and for Nights in Vienna. The profits from these banquets have been invested in re- furnishing the bedroom, for new draperies in the dining room and for cooking equipment, such as china and silver. During the past two years the girls have bought enough silver, china and other equipment to serve 200 at one time. At present they are being used in serving noon hour lunches. Two years ago the kitchen was remodeled and is now very modern, having a six-unit kitchen type of cooking laboratory. -At that time four gas stoves, two electric stoves, two new sinks and an electric refrigerator were installed. All girls taking Home Ee. are eligible for the Home Ee. Club. This year Shirley Oliver is president.
