AERIAL VIEW OF GLASGOW HIGH SCHOOL mmam ws,-.vqagpm sa 4 any This view of the Glasgow High School, taken by a. staff member early in March, shows the school building facing east in the center foreground with the flood-lighted athletic field above and to the right. The view is taken facing west and south, with the Milk river in the background and No. 2 highway cutting through the center of the picture to the right. The business district lies to the southeast beyond the view. EFORE Scotty takes you on the inside of our Glasgow High School to give you, as best he can, a pictor- ial view of activities within, he asks you to consider our school as a part of the whole community. Education has always been in the foreground of community life. Today we feel that Glasgow is a state leader in progressive education and that there is no sparing of time nor conscientious effort on the part of the administrator and the Board of Education to organize the system to operate as efficiently as possible in the best interests of the needs of this section of Montana. The Superintendent and the Board, pictured on the accompanying page, are the links between the Glasgow schools and the community. Chosen to carry the heavy responsibilities of administration and fi- nance, they have innumerable questions to solve. By handling the problems philosophically and with charac- teristic good judgment, they have succeeded in keeping the course of progress for our school tranquil. We hope it will be some little compensation for their efforts to know that the faculty and the student body gratefully acknowledge their successful service and are wholeheartedly behind them. ...4..
