0 gow of ANSWERING THE CALL OF HOMECOMING The yearly homecoming event was opened with a parade on the afternoon of October 21, 1955. The winning floats were! The junior Class, the Sophomore Class, Hamilton's Grocery, and the Gladstone Grade School. The G-O Blackhawks played their game with Media. The Blackhawks were victorious 48 to 7. After the game the homecoming dance was held in the gailey decorated gym where Eunice Cook was crowned queen and Larry Yeoman was crowned king of the homecoming festivities. Their attendants from the Senior Class were Wava Thompson and Eddy UeLaBarg from the Sopho- more Class Cheryl Nicholas and jim Mclntireg from the Freshman Class Nancy Davenport and George Dawdy. The three Abbott children and Sadie, the maid, are having a miserable time. Grandma arrives from the farm the day Mrs. Abbott is bringing three upper-crust guests home for the week-end. Grandma thwarts this move by inviting the family black- sheep. Gram having never seen het blacksheep cousin mistakes a criminal for him.
