Bears' Tale Representative in Who's Who, Most Valuable Edit0r'rs Note 'A' The Bears' Tale Staff of 1942 has attempted to record in words and pictures a complete portrayal of the school life of the students in the Gladewater lun- ior-Senior High School. A The original plan was to build the book around the theme of our contribution to the defense of Democracy. With the events of December 7, 1941, and the declaraf tion of war on the following day it was deemed wise to take a more aggressive point of view. In spitef of the. many rapid changes we have attempted to keep abreast of those affecting our school system.
