My Impression of Glad Tidings LAD TIDINGS will always remain in our hearts as the place where we met with God, where our hearts were melted with the tender heart of Jesus, sharing, as it were, His joys, sorrows, and humilities. It was here where we came in touch with that Blaster who once trod the shores of blue Galilee-who climbed the ascent to Rlount Olivet to pray--who trod the winepress all alone for you and me. He who walked the rugged road to Calvary. bearing on His back the sin burden of the whole world. Here we have learned of some of the sacrifice He made for you and me: those days of deep loneliness and humiliation, of the great and infinite sacrifice can we not speak without tear-dimmed eyes. The sacrifice that Jesus made was the greatest this world has ever known, or will know. The song writer has well caught the true meaning of the sacrifice and love of Jesus in these words,- ln heaven above, was light and love, Un earth below, was sin and woe, God saw our plight, sent forth His light. And turned our night to noon-day bright. YVhat great lessons we have learned here from Him. He, who for our sakes became poor, that we through His poverty might be rich. Not of this world's goods, but of the riches of glory in Christ Jesus. How unsearchable are the riches of Christ, and they can be ours if we will only seek after them. Precious stones are not found on the surface, but under ground, obscure, and hidden. It means much hard work and digging, but when they are procured, how valuable and precious they are. So we have learned that the richest blessings come not from all that is easily acquired, but from the times of trials and difficulties-the valley experiences, where we have to get down on our faces before God, and seek Him in earnest. But thanks be to God who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Glad Tidings has been a place of communion sweet at the feet of the Blaster, hours of weeping before Him, letting Him melt our hearts with His tender love, until we lay in complete brokenness and yieldedness before Himg in full contrition to Him and His service. And as we let Him speak to our hearts, we can say. Have Thy way, Lord, and we are lost amid His holy and divine presence: and we can see no man, save Jesus only.'l By CARRIE joruxsox Tlzir'ty-sew: I
