FEAST lFood Education And Service Trainingl is a new program this year in the Highline District. Glacier is the only school which has this program. FEAST is a four period block which includes one hour Publicity and Public Relations, one hour Business Math, two hours Food Lab, and work experiences on the side. The head advisor of FEAST is Mrs. Call. along with teachers Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Moore icookl, Mr. Phillips, and Mr. Maloney. The eighteen students involved are juniors and seniors. They get working experiences from serving at banquets, having carwashes. and many students have jobs working in restaurants. Concert Band has played through another fantastic year. They had both a fall and spring concert, and were superb. They have also performed for other schools. Members of Concert Band devoted many extra hours, coming before school and staying after school for section rehearsals. The Glacier Stage Band played at many of our games and Pep Assemblies. There wouldn't have been nearly as much spirit without them. They did a great job at Glacier as well as traveling to other schools for performances. All the members of Stage Band put in a lot' of extra time throughout the year. Pep Band, composed of members of the Concert Band, played for Pep Assemblies and some of the games and contributed to school spirit.
