WHERE ARE WE GOHNG? Bright and early each Sunday morning for eight weeks the members of Ski School jump on the bus and head for the slopes. While at Ski Acres they are given a lesson for about an hour and a half, and then spend the rest of the day gliding down the slopes practicing what they have learned. Under the supervision of Mrs. Anderson, the 40 members of F.T.A. traveled everyday to help out at the six different elementary schools in the Glacier Area. Since the district won't supply transportation the Future Teachers must walk, run, ride bikes. or drive to the elementary school where they help the teachers, and become friends with the kids. It gives the members a chance to find out a little about the teaching field and whether or not they would like to become teachers. The teachers are very pleased with their help, and feel that the elementary school children benefit greatly by having them.

The 72-73 AVALANCHE staff produced some excellent school newspapers this year. Contributing to that is the fact that this years staff is the largest they have ever had. The AVALANCHE is sup- ervised by Mrs. Lemmel. In order to meet their bi-monthly deadlines the staff often spends many hours after school working to meet the deadline. The class is designed to develope skills in the newspaper and advertising fields. LIBRARY ASSISTANTS The LIBRARY ASSISTANTS take care of running the library with the help of Mrs. Crounse. The duties of the Aide's are to keep the library in running order and help their fellow classmates find the material they need for reports and assignments. l 113
