Wick, End Most Improved Letterman Glacier met the league leading Evergreen Wolver- ines in their sixth game of the season. Evergreen scored their only touchdown in the first quarter, leading the Grizzlies 7-0 at half-time. In the third quarter Glacier came back and scored their only touchdown. This game ended up in a 7-7 tie, the same score as the year before, when we played them. The Glacier Grizzlies had one of their best offen- sive drives of the season when they met the Enum- claw Hornets in their seventh game of the season. All during the game, the Grizzlies led, finally de- feating Enumclaw 21-12. The Mt. Rainier Glacier game was so close yet so far. The Rams led the Grizzlies 6-0 at half time. Then both teams came back and scored another touchdown, making the score 13-7 in favor of Mt. Rainier. In the last minute of the game Glacier made one last drive to win the game, they came two inches away from making a first down when the final gun sounded. The final score was Mt. Rainier 13, Glacier 7. In the final game of the season Glacier met Pu- yallup one of the toughest teams Glacier met in their second football season. Puyallup led Glacier 6-0 at half time and then they went full force in the fourth quarter by trouncing Glacier 38-7. This game end- ed G1acier's best football season with 4 wins 4 losses and 1 tie.
