Wick, End Most Improved Letterman Glacier met the league leading Evergreen Wolver- ines in their sixth game of the season. Evergreen scored their only touchdown in the first quarter, leading the Grizzlies 7-0 at half-time. In the third quarter Glacier came back and scored their only touchdown. This game ended up in a 7-7 tie, the same score as the year before, when we played them. The Glacier Grizzlies had one of their best offen- sive drives of the season when they met the Enum- claw Hornets in their seventh game of the season. All during the game, the Grizzlies led, finally de- feating Enumclaw 21-12. The Mt. Rainier Glacier game was so close yet so far. The Rams led the Grizzlies 6-0 at half time. Then both teams came back and scored another touchdown, making the score 13-7 in favor of Mt. Rainier. In the last minute of the game Glacier made one last drive to win the game, they came two inches away from making a first down when the final gun sounded. The final score was Mt. Rainier 13, Glacier 7. In the final game of the season Glacier met Pu- yallup one of the toughest teams Glacier met in their second football season. Puyallup led Glacier 6-0 at half time and then they went full force in the fourth quarter by trouncing Glacier 38-7. This game end- ed G1acier's best football season with 4 wins 4 losses and 1 tie.

R. Wiseman, Quarterback R. Craven, Fullback Captain D. Good, Halfback Inspirational H. Lenz, Guard J. Schneider, Guard Again the Grizzlies started out their football season by playing Auburn. During the first quarter we were able to score 13 points, which later in the game proved to be the winning score, by defeating Au- burn 13-7. The next game of the season was with Highline High School. In the last half of the fourth quarter, Highline made the winning touchdown, beating Glacier 12-7. Glacier played a great game when they went up against Franklin Pierce in their third game of the season. At half-time Franklin Pierce was ahead of the Grizzlies 7-6, but Glacier came back to beat Franklin Pierce 12-7. Senior In Glacier's fourth game of the season they met the Renton Indians a powerful team. The Grizzlie ball club had a real hard time moving the ball and couldnit stop the Renton Indians. The final score was Renton 26 Glacier O. The fifth game of the season against Kent proved to be a very exciting one. In spite of the 0-0 half- time score, Glacier came back to beat Kent l3f0.
