Students will then realize of what value these experiences and asso- ciations can be in the homemaking, business, professional, or armed service worlds. What the future holds, no one can foretell. Some students will have the pleasure of returning in the fall to another full cycle of events. Others will enter various fields of work or education and will renew acquaintances at the annual alumnae meeting. Time will march onward, but may all keep harmony between mind and heart, between body and soul. Matching color swatches to complexions, as demon- strated by Sharon Cramer fleftl and Ella Mae Grace as Chloe Miner looks on, and learning good grooming and the different types of seams are the basic facts of clothing which are taught to the freshman and sophomore clothing classes. Fundamentals with a little common knowledge are put to good use as the seniors design a garment and make the pattern, the muslin copy, and finally the original garment. Pat Ashworth fright? is modeling her completed garment for Sandra McNabb. The seamstresses continue with this experience in selecting and making a tailored garment,

12 Chemistry is fun .... Planning, performing, and completing experiments give a feeling ot satisfaction to Gayle Woody Clettl and Ellen Wernegreen who are working on the electrolysis of water. Learning to prepare and serve food ot foreign lands was one of the projects ol the ad- vanced foods classes. These girls chose China as their themeg some ot the other countries represented were Italy, India, Holland, and Egypt.
