Heod the Menu In charge of the girls' personal problems is Miss Ruth Dowe, our vice-principal. Capable Chefs The head chef is gracious Miss Hilma I. Peterson, our principal, who is in charge of all activities within our bowl. She meets with the eight principals of other Portland Public High Schools at the administration building to discuss school problems and policies. She carefully sifts these decisions as they apply to our student body, parents, and teachers. She personally handles the most difficult problems arising during the school year. Added to her busy schedule are many meet- ings and social activities after school and in the evening which require her attendance.
