Teen-Agers, a special name for a unique and special period in an individual's life, is well chosen. This is a between time in a girl's or boy's life, a time between childhood and adulthood. To me the girls and boys of this age are very likable and also very interesting. One of their finest character- istics is their strong desire for fairness. l admire them very much for it. Lack of sufficient experience and knowledge prevents them from always knowing what is fair. Wise assistance from adults can help direct this fine desire into the right channels. Keep alive and develop this splendid desire through- out your life, girls, remembering that it should include fairness to others as well as yourself. Many world prob- lems can be solved if Teen-Agers carry this goal into their adult life. I-lilma I Peterson. What would school be without a pal? We need a friend to greet us in the morning with whom we can share our day's activities. Without a friendly hi as we enter, and a cheery bye now when we leave, our lives would indeed lack the warmth that now prevails. But after hearing gay voices saying see you in class third period, meet me for lunch, remember our club meeting today, we know that at Girls Poly its tradi- tional friendliness will be everlasting. Ruth Dowe.
