THE 4-H POLYMAIDS The Polymaids, who are celebrating their first birthday this spring, have had quite a busy year raising funds for scholarships. They served tea at the faculty meetings each Monday after school, sold Karmel Corn in their home districts, and recently they received a nice donation for their fund from the ParentfTeacher Association of Girls Polytechnic 1-ligh School. Consequently they were able to give to each of the five outstanding members of the club a scholarship to the fl-H summer school at Corvallis. Besides helping to raise the general fund, each Polymaid also completed an individual proj- ect. These were displayed in a booth at the spring show. -Fay O'Conner, Club Reporter. Among our interesting speakers throughout the year was the wife of Dr. Levy, who was a Iewish doctor in Vienna until the family came to the United States in 1937. Besides our fall tea which was given for the new members, we enjoyed several skating and dancing parties. fl-lelen Ambler.
