Cn a Monday morning, about two 1-reeks before Christmas, everyone is surprised by an immense lighted tree in the middle of the main corridor. Thrilled by its beauty the girls Walk by between periods, open eyed and starzng at this CEll1f I!Tlif grandeur Enjoying this bit of pleasure each day until the last, 1-fe all join together like a large choir to sing our Christmas carols in a morning assembly. Alter a few joyous hymns sung by the chorus, each one goes to her room remembering that peaceful hour. lingle Bellsl Santa is coming around to eacn room to arn that E1e'.-.iilsoon be there, Every' one is laughing and talking of Ciristmas cheer. Each room takes its contribution for ine Sunf shine Division and places it under tzie tree, My' '.'.':1at a collection of food clothing and toys' Photographers also come to take pictures We usually have an afternoon party and receive gfts from ine teachers such as popcorn balls or candy, but this year our afternoon party and present :ras a trir to tie Qaureliiurfit Theatre to see Dickens Christmas Caro.

But as the little mouse Watched, he saw two open meetings lor tryouts whereby peppy new members were chosen. l-le also saw 'The Cuckoo, a one-act play, presented in the Practice Apartment for Benson students interested in dramatics, The Revolt ot Youth was given at a public performance in the auditorium.
