I9 Hammond Street, Boston Got any trouble you'd like to get off your chest or a good ioke you'd like to tell to an appreciative audience? Well, Ei is the girl to see. She is known around these parts as a good listener, and she certainly lives up to her title. Ei goes in for excitement, and she gets her share by motorcycle riding, and roller skating. But d0n't get us wrong, she has her quiet side, too, which is shown by her love for the universal language, music, she is quite a piano player. Besides all this she is taking the commercial course, and some day, we know she will make some one a wonderful stenographer. ACTIVITIES: Distaff 2, Commercial Club 4, Student Council 2. REGINA l'lCllE'l'l'l 32 Shirley Street, Boston Reggie is another of our quieter, soft- spoken girls, whose memory of being a member of the last class from G.H.S. Colony is one she's proud of. Reggie is one of those girls who know history, as she proved by coming out first in the Hearst contest. She is interested in both iournalism and aviation, and to further her knowled e in the latter field, she is in the Civil ,air Patrol, an Air Forces unit, and though she is an inactive member at the present, we hope Reg will soon get back into the outfit. She is going to Simmons next year, and her ambition, though no specific field was stated, is simply, to be a success. She is a rabid baseball and football fan and what with the teams that Boston has, she certainly has something to cheer for, Bette belongs to the Dra-Music Guild and spends her spare time bowling, dancing, and roller skating. That's the fa- miliar cry heard any time the senior bas- ketball team is playing In the gym. Manny, we are proud to admit, is one of the stars and hos contributed to its vic- tories over any and all contenders. She spends a few evenings every week play- ing basketball at the Peabody House Her other interests are swimming, bowl- ing, modeling, and dancing. Here's the amazing part though, Manny's favorite hobby is reading, which oes to show she is an all-around girl. Sie IS taking the commercial course now and is planning to go to work next year. She takes a great interest in our Glee Club, and in previous years was a member of our basketball team and in our school concerts. Out- side of school, Chris sings in St. John's Choir and belongs to o club called The Daughters of New Hellas. When it comes to music, Chris is right at home at play- ing the piano. Andre is a poker and is always coming up with something witty to say, and in this way keeps her friends in high spirits with her sparkling sense of humor. Her neat ap- pearance and orderly manner should prove an asset to her future office work, and also in her efforts to have a wealthy man as a husband. RITA PORZIO 2IO Everett Street, East Boston Rita's happiest moments are spent lise tening to a Glenn Miller record or mun- ching on fried clams. They're two of the things she likes best in life. She at- tended the Donald MacKay School before ioining us. After graduation she is going to a Comptometer School. Meanwhile she spends her time dancing and swimming. She also chalks up quite a score bowling. Her pleasing personality should ensure her having a long and happy life. ACTIVITIES: Merchandising Club 4, DOROTHEA PRASINUS , Q80 Columbia Road, Dorchester cky is a shy writer af poetry, and no a unt of coaxing could induce her to sh! her work to us, but we might win o t yet. Becky is a good dancer, likes bowling, baseball, and football, and one jnight out of the week at least, is devoted to skimming the hardwood of the roller- skating rink. Next year will probably find Beck working in some large cor- poiration, for that is her immediate plan. BRENDA PRESCOTT 40 Revere Street, Boston Brenda, tall, attractive, sandy-haired, is one of the more athletic members of our class. A whiz at basketball, she helped our team to win some of those victories over rival schools, Basketball is not her only hobby, however, for she also enjoys tripping the light fantastic, and often gets absorbed within the pages of a good book. Next year, this ambitious young lady plans to go to business school, and lucky will be the person who gets Brenda as a top-notch secretory. ACTIVITIES: A.A.
