Millie hopes to be- come a nurse and intends to go in train- ing after graduation. She is a mild- mannered, shy girl who, in her own quiet way, enioys bowling and photography. She is now taking the commercial course, and the business world's loss will be the nursing profession's gain. Mildred's ma- ture personality and her kindness will be a great asset to her. ACTIVITIES: Merchandising Club 2, Bi- ology Club 4. WILLEMENA JONES l957 Washington Street, Boston Another of G.H.S.'s nightingales is Tina, with her beautiful alto voice. She displays her talent in many ways. In her iunior year, Tina helped to make the Girls' High radio program a success by singing a solo. She is very active in her church affairs, is a soloist in her choir, and even ets in a little usherin on the side. Wifi music on her mimi Tina's hobby is playing the piano, and her am- bition is to be an accomplished pianist. In grammar school, Tina proved herself to be one of our more active girls by winning a 55.00 prize, With her back- ground in the musical field, Tina will go out in the world and make herself a suc- cess in her chosen career. The girl with the gray-green eyes loves to ploy jokes on poor innocent bystanders, and though we haven't been around to see how'they take it, fun-lav- ing Zoshia undoubtedly imparts some of her own sparkling humor to them. She wants to take a trip to Europe, particu- larly to see Poland, and from there travel the rest of the world, as well as see Hollywood. Her hobbies are varied, for she loves to dance, swim, bike-ride, and draw. Lastly, she collects iokes, let- ting out the secret of her great store of them. Zoshia has spent many of her summers in Revere Beach, and has also gone to Vermont and Connecticut on va- cations. Her ambition is office work, preferably the State House. ROSEMARIE KAHLER 36 Mozart Street, Jamaica Plain Rosie hos high hopes of becoming a stenographer, and perhaps if she hopes hard enough, her faiigy godmother will see that this wish is ulfilled. Rosie is very active in sports, her favorite bein roller skating, swimming, and bowling. ,E lover of modern music, she collects pop- ular records. Rosie's ambition is to take piano lessons in order that she may ac- company herself on the Piano while she sings. Perhaps Rosie's airy godmother wil take care of that, too. ROSELMINA INDRISANU 29 Bayswater Street, Boston Pudgy is a very intelligent person with a pleasing personality, she is well-liked by teachers and classmates alike. Next year Pudgy Plans to attend Emmanuel College to fulfill her desire of making her parents proud of her by becoming a teacher. We all agree that Pudgg will make a lovable teacher as she as a great deal of that great virtue, patience. Pudgy likes nothing better than to spend a whale day with little children, and the children like nothing better than to be with Pudiy, Pudgie's hobbies are read- ing, the ed Sox, and listening to Car- men Cavallaro, ACTlVlTlES: Dlstoff 3, Library Service Club 3, 45 Yearbook, English Club 4, Sophomore Aspirants, LORRAINE IRITANO I86 Cortage Street, East Boston Lolly's lovely, sultry voice will probably be the one thing remembered the longest, along with her beloved, Begin the Be- guine. She's participated in our enter- tainments here, and iust to change things around, she wants to produce and direct a musical comedy show someday. Lastly in the musical line, she belongs to the Dra-Music Guild. Lolly has a pen pal in England, and looks forward to receiving her letters from Europe, Lol is a Senior Service Scout, enioys basketball, bowling, skating, and dancing. She plans to be a social worker, and we feel sure that Lolly, with her pleasant ways and quiet voice, will be a success in her chosen field. CONSTANCE JACKSON 384 Northampton Street, Boston Next year, Connie plans to attend a school of beauty culture, as her ambi- tion is to be a successful hairdresser and to own her own beauty shop. Reading, collecting autographs, and collecting pro- grams are Connie's hobbies. Among Connie's outside activities are watching her favorite basketball team get the ball in the basket, swimming, and keeping time to the music on a dance floor. Her favorite pastime is watching the local teams play-basketball, Connie appears to be the silent type to her classmates, but her close friends know that Connie is far different. JACKSON 1 l Lattimore Court, Boston Bebe is just a little girl, but she has lots of personality, so we know her am- bition to really do something good as a credit to my race, and something worth- while will be achieved. As an active member of the Student Council, she was awarded a pin for outstanding work. She loves to read the latest novels, and col- lect records and autographs of celebrities. Ginny claims she will attend business school next year, but we know that her music as one hobby that will pay davi- dends, especially in her case! CATHERINE LAFAUCI ll Chesterton Street, Roxbury The star in an operetta an the eaghth grade, Katrin went on to be a star in her Junior and Senior Classes. In the com- mercial course, Katrin plans to go to the Bentley School of Accaun-tang to become a Certified Public Accountant. Katrin will make a successful accountant, as figures fascinate her. A very energetic person, Katrin takes part an such outside actavataes as swimming, skating, and bowling. She as o very graceful dancer and teaches her friends the art of gliding to the tempos. Also a very industrious person, Katrin designs and sews clothes, and for any reason, accounting should not appeal to Katrin later on, she may become a dress designer. ACTIVITIES: Glee Club I, History Club 4, Student Council 2, Swimming League 2, Bowling League 3. ALTIIEA LAMBERT I4 Yarmouth Street, South End Althea cheerfully admits she is one of those people who are always getting into mischief. Perhaps that as what en- dears her to her friends. Althea belongs to quite a few clubs, including Baptist Youth Fellowship and the Imperial Art Club, of which Althea as chairman of the board of Plays. This club has put on many plays in which Althea has shown her acting ability, Her other activities are sewing, bowling, and dancing. After graduating from college, Althea plans to work in the field of real estate. This is a very wade, but interesting field, and we feel sure Althea will be o success an it. ACTIVITIES: A.A. 4, Bowling League 3, Spanish Club 3, 4. BARBARA LANE Sl Compton Street, Boston lt's a receptionast's life for Bobs, for her quiet manner, pleasant way, and method of treating people should stand her an good stead for the profession she's chosen. Her traats should make her an asset to any office, be at doctor's or otherwise. Babs' shy smile gives a slight introduction to one side of her character, for Bobs, at least to all appearances, as aust as shy as her smile. She's a member of the B'Naa B'R1th Club, and follows thas up with following the dance pat- terns to the music's beat, or hitting the pans high and wide for the pleasure of adding up the columns of figures for her grand total.
