Outside of school, she busies her- self by being a member of the Alfa Delta Club and Youth Council. We all know Bea to be a helpful, pleasont girl who is always with one of her numerous friends. She traveled all through the New Eng- land States as well os having been to Canada. Bea will go to work next year, but she intends to become a housewife in the near future. We know that who- ever the unknown gentleman is, he is very fortunate to have our Bea. ACTIVITIES' Merchandising Club 4. CTIvITlES A 3 M f MARY HARKINS Street South I93 Savnn Hill Avenue, Dorchester Mary rs the girl who gives us the im- pression that she lust stepped out of a style show She is attractive and popu- lar, and we all know her to be one of the best. Mary came to G.H.S. from the Ed- ward Everett School and took a commer- cial course here. Mary's sports prefer- ences favor neither the summer nor the winter. She's impartial,choosing first the pleasure of flashing the silver blades over the icy surface of ponds, then makinq use of the water after the ice has broken up by diving for a cool dip to escape the heat of the summer days. Dancing oc cupies her fun-time. She also likes to collect records and pictures. Mary, like many others, has an ambition to travel, both near and far. She's interested, too, in sports and attends many baseball and football games, as well as track meets. ALSO she travels' She's been to Tennessee, Vlrgrnia, and was a pupil at the Everett School. Next year, she plans to go to New York, which, by the way, introduces her ambition-to travel. She's one of the nicest girls we know, and it's been good luck on our part, to know her. She has lovely clothes, and wears them well. Swimming, bowling, and dancing comprise her out- side activities, and she usually finds time in her busy schedule of schoolwork and the rest to spend time at one of her three divisions. ROSELMINA INDRISANU 29 Bayswater Street, Boston Pudgy is a very intelligent person with a pleasing personality, she is well-liked by teachers and classmates alike. Next year Pudgy Plans to attend Emmanuel College to fulfill her desire of making her parents proud of her by becoming a teacher. We all agree that Pudgg will make a lovable teacher as she as a great deal of that great virtue, patience. Pudgy likes nothing better than to spend a whale day with little children, and the children like nothing better than to be with Pudiy, Pudgie's hobbies are read- ing, the ed Sox, and listening to Car- men Cavallaro, ACTlVlTlES: Dlstoff 3, Library Service Club 3, 45 Yearbook, English Club 4, Sophomore Aspirants, LORRAINE IRITANO I86 Cortage Street, East Boston Lolly's lovely, sultry voice will probably be the one thing remembered the longest, along with her beloved, Begin the Be- guine. She's participated in our enter- tainments here, and iust to change things around, she wants to produce and direct a musical comedy show someday. Lastly in the musical line, she belongs to the Dra-Music Guild. Lolly has a pen pal in England, and looks forward to receiving her letters from Europe, Lol is a Senior Service Scout, enioys basketball, bowling, skating, and dancing. She plans to be a social worker, and we feel sure that Lolly, with her pleasant ways and quiet voice, will be a success in her chosen field. CONSTANCE JACKSON 384 Northampton Street, Boston Next year, Connie plans to attend a school of beauty culture, as her ambi- tion is to be a successful hairdresser and to own her own beauty shop. Reading, collecting autographs, and collecting pro- grams are Connie's hobbies. Among Connie's outside activities are watching her favorite basketball team get the ball in the basket, swimming, and keeping time to the music on a dance floor. Her favorite pastime is watching the local teams play-basketball, Connie appears to be the silent type to her classmates, but her close friends know that Connie is far different. JACKSON 1 l Lattimore Court, Boston Bebe is just a little girl, but she has lots of personality, so we know her am- bition to really do something good as a credit to my race, and something worth- while will be achieved. We think Bebe is already well started on the road to fulfilling this ambition. In the College course, Bebe plans to enter B.U. after graduation. Bebe is kept very busy with her outside activities as she is an active member at the Baptist Youth Fellowship, YWCA, and the Girls' Reserve. Her other pastimes are reading and sports.
