While this is slightly exaggerated, it does give an idea of the sparkling effervescence of Betty's personality. Anyone who has read any of Betty's stories is aware of her wonderful literary ability. She wrote the delightful play we all enioyed at the iunior party, she won a cash award in on oratorical and essay contest at her church, she has a worth while hobby of writing stories and poems, several of which have been published in newspapers and Girl Scout magazines. Her practical ambition is iournalism, and her dream is to meet Pearl Buck, her favorite author. May she go on for in the fictional field, she has the ability. MARY FUSCO 170 Salem Street, Boston Typewriters, telephones, and reports will be the familiar obiects to the eyes of Pinky when her ambition is realized, for she plans on being a secretary next year to help keep some firm running smoothly. On o lighter side, Pinky likes dancing, scribbling down scores on a bowling scoresheet for the fun of adding up the columns of figures for the grand total, and collecting souvenirs and coins, then taking time out to watch her favo- rite actors romp across the screen in va- rious plots. Whatever Mary does in the future, she is sure to carry out her re- sponsibilities to the best of her ability in her conscientious way. ACTIVITIES' Alumnae Assn. JANE GAILAGIIER 4 Forest Place, Dorchester Jane, being the gregarious type of person, likes meeting different people and making friends of the people she meets. She must have an interesting rep- ertoire of friends, part of which can be attributed to her aforementioned feel- ings, and part to her pleasantness.
