1 Pagc Thirty-Six 2. 9 'Q JEANNETTE DUBINA I8 Garden Street, Boston The interiors of the model homes you see when you open the pages of a few of the better known magazines may be coming from the skillful hands of Dubi, who will be working in that field when her dreams are realized, for she wants to be an interior decorator, so hers will be the hand to decide the right color and setting for your rooms. Dubi's an active member of an outside club and has been a member of a folk dance group who put on benefit shows in and around town, two of these stops having been at the Hotel Bradford and the Ritz Plaza. She intends taking life easy for a while next year, before rolling up her sleeves and setting to work on her ultimate aim in i e. ACTIVITIES: Pre-driving Club 4, Stu- dent Council 2, MARIE DWYER 66 Chapman Street, Boston Hcre's your party! The voice at the other end is soft and pleasant and belongs to none other than Marie. Next year will find attractive, brown-haired Marie with earphones and switchboard, busily connecting you with the person with whom you wish to speak. One of Charlestown's contributions to G.H.S., she is in the commercial course here and has done very well, too. Marie likes basket- ball both os a spectator and participant, and when not shooting for a basket, she will be found at her other favorite ac- tivity, dancing. Between the two she manages to keep pretty busy. Good luck Marie, in your career as telephone op- erator! ACTIVITIES. Merchandising Club 4. DOROTHY DYMLING AIS Commonwealth Avenue, Boston Quiet Dotty is typified by the presence of books, the mention of novels. Dot probably holds the distinction of having read the most extensively, and when passing judgment on a book, a little crinkling of her nose means No i a shrug of the shoulders means So-so l and a big smile means Yes -lshe likes itl, Dot not only reads, but writes as well, fantasy being the type she excels in. Dot herself might well be a mis- chievous pixie from one af her own won- derful stories. Her shy little grin will soon be topped off with a litte.white cap and uniform in the years to come, for Dot's tip-toeing figure will be walk- ing down quiet hospital halls on the way to some patient's bedside, She plans to take in a tour at the Newton Wellesley Hospital. Dress designing has been Ruey's ambition ever since she can remember, and in order to prepare her- self for her work, she has taken many art courses through which she will cer- tainly profit. Being a very active girl, Ruey has many outside activities, some of which are attending basketball games and track meets, listening to jazz concerts, and dancing. MARIE DOOLEY 32 Pearl Street, Dorchester As Marie has wanted to be a teacher ever since she can remember, there is little doubt that she'll ever regret be- coming one. Time will find Marie sitting behind a desk teaching more than text- book knowledge to her students, for part of her warm personality and love of life will be imparted to the irls and boys she'll be making her friengs. Marie, be- cause of her attitude of friendliness toward others, will be a friend. She col- lects foreign dolls and the row of them, all dressed in their native costumes of the lands they represent, make an inter- esting sight. As a baseball and football enthusiast, she does her best to attend these games, and nothing can be quite as satisfying as to watch the players run wildly for a home run or dodge lock and tackles fop a touch wn.
