When explaining a new book or her favorite symphony, Toody's excitement sometimes causes her to resort to her native French tongue, reminding her listener of her French background. As vice-president of the orchestra, she is starting naw toward her hoped for goal of being a good mu- sician, ond her other ambition, to be a successful woman is one that she shouldn't have any trouble in recogniz- ing, since she's been so very successful in her school life.
