A member of o very interesting club known as the Discussion Club, which oddl enough spends its time discussing anything which happens to interest it, Ruthie also enjoys dancing, roller-skating, swimming, and bicycle-riding, and her favorite hobby is an hour spent listening to her favorite crooner, Bing Crosby, singing her favorite song, You Do. ELEANOR BUONAPANE llI5 Saratoga Street, East Boston Ellie plans to attend business school where she will train for one of her am- bitions, that of a secretary, Her other ambition is to be a housewife, Ellie en- loys operas, and she saw her favorite, Carmen: but despite her love of the opera, she is ci rabid Sinatra fan, and holds Errol Flynn as one of her favorite movie idols. When only seven, she enioyed a trip to Canada, later went to Pennsylvania, and finished her travels with New York. Traveling, bowling, dan- cing, reading, and taking snapshots take up Nan's time after school. I-Iere's hop- ing that someday her name will again be in the G.H.S. Never still for a moment and always very much Interested In something, she does so many things one can only see her on her way somewhere. Ruthie is planning on tak- ing an evening course at Bryant and Stratton after graduation, and during the day she wants to work at the John Hancock Life Insurance Company, Activities Pre-driving Club 4. SYLVIA CASEY 33 Warwick Street, Roxbury It's quite hard to predict If Sylvia will be known for her singing or her business career. Already she has gained many fans by turning on her vocal charms. Why, when she was six, she sang on the radio! Now her school studies have everything to do with business, and next year she plans to continue with them at a business school. Guess what else Syl did? At nine she traveled from Charles- ton, South Carolina to Boston, alone! Yes, Syl can do anything: skate, dance, swim, bowl, play tennis, write poems, and win the affection of many classmates.
