Being familiar with the mind, Phyllis understands that some pleasures must be intermingled with du- ties of studying, anyway, t at's her sci- entific explanation of why she likes read- ing, piano, iceskating, and skiing. May- be that's also why she greatly. enioyed her travels through North and South Carolina and Maryland. She has many outside pastimes, one of which is collecting pictures for her old age. Ruthie's only wish is to be o success and to make loads of money, a paltry million, to be exact. A member of o very interesting club known as the Discussion Club, which oddl enough spends its time discussing anything which happens to interest it, Ruthie also enjoys dancing, roller-skating, swimming, and bicycle-riding, and her favorite hobby is an hour spent listening to her favorite crooner, Bing Crosby, singing her favorite song, You Do. ELEANOR BUONAPANE llI5 Saratoga Street, East Boston Ellie plans to attend business school where she will train for one of her am- bitions, that of a secretary, Her other ambition is to be a housewife, Ellie en- loys operas, and she saw her favorite, Carmen: but despite her love of the opera, she is ci rabid Sinatra fan, and holds Errol Flynn as one of her favorite movie idols. A lover of music, Nan enioys going to the Pops Concerts in the spring and lis- tens ta classical music. When only seven, she enioyed a trip to Canada, later went to Pennsylvania, and finished her travels with New York. Traveling, bowling, dan- cing, reading, and taking snapshots take up Nan's time after school. I-Iere's hop- ing that someday her name will again be in the G.H.S. LILLIAN CALELLO 385 Frankfort Street, Boston Lee, now taking a commercial course, plans to become a comptometer operae tor next year, but she will tell you in o simple, straightforward way that one of her secondary ambitions is to get mar- ried, Numbering among Lee's outside interests are circling the smooth floors by dancing, giving the pinboys a work out b knocking 'em over horizontally in the bowlin alleys, keeping tame on wheels to tie music in the rinks, and l0Sfly, watching wrestling matches, a rather Interesting hobby in Lee's case.
