FRESHMAN BASKETBALL TEAM With a pep unexcelled by any other competing team. the Frosh made their debut in the high school basketball league. Fairly large for a be- ginners' team, they entered each game with the determination to win. They succeeded in bringing the Sophs down to their level in the hoop World. Cecilia Nankeville was chosen as captain for the green ones, and they didn't make such a bad showing. XVe look for bigger and better things from this team later. Gold, Silver. They were out to win if they could prove themselves strong enough for their opponents. Bowing before the onrush of the first year team did not make them lose faith. They played with the same spirit and vigor that they had used before. It Worked: they gained fourth place in the inter-class. The Sophs are eagerly awaiting the next tournament so that they may win a higher and more noted position. Kandy, handy, dandy Pete, Central I-li is Where we meet: Hep, hep. lots of pep.
