s f we ' 'A - .- 'fi , is SENIGR CLASS HISTORY 1927-28 In 1927 we entered the halls of Central as Freshies with big feelings and joyous anticipation. Our basketball team won third place in the interclass tournament by defeating the Sophs. 1928-29 We started our sophomore year with just as much vim and vigor as we displayed as Preshies. Early in the year we sponsored the most suc- cessful candy sale ever held at Central. As first organizers of the T. C. Club We upheld its ideals. The crowning achievement of this year was the winning of the basketball championship by defeating the Seniors 10-9. 1929-30 Realizing our importance, We first proved our ability as Juniors by having a goodly number on each Honor Roll. The Dramatic Club. under the able direction of Catherine Connolly. Nora Brouilette, Mae Mulholland and Norma Johnson, displayed its tal- ent in the various fields of entertainment. Our Prom, held April 25, was just as successful as it was spectacular. The basketball quintet were champs for the second consecutive year, downing the Seniors 14-5. 1930-31 Our Senior year was just one success after another. Both Central- ite drives were successful. Those winning honors in the Quill and Scroll contests were: Irene Harrington, first place in Montana. and Mary Lee, sixth place in the nation. Several others received honorable mention. Fourteen members of the Centralite staff were admitted into the Quill and Scroll Society. Our school paper won third place in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Contest. and other honors. Catherine Duggan Was elected our cheerleader, and she certainly proved to be a peppy one at all the games. sxxxxxxxsxsss.xsxesxmNSsmxw 14 11141114 ln! IQVI!
