During the retreat several of the girls were selected from this organization to sing sacred hymns. The Cilee Club was in great demand at school as Well as public entertainments, contributing several numbers both at the declamation and commencement programs. The girls also gave a Thanksgiving radio concert over KGIR and entertained many times during the year at meet- ings of the Daughters of Isabella. No school assembly was considered complete without a selection by the Glee Club. The girls surely showed their excellent training and were a credit to their instructress, Madame Marie M. Leipheimer, who was tireless in her efforts to develop their singing talents. .'-T' A . i e 'LD' - ..L4.44Fl . ' 'C-TQ l Vclll 'lil llR'l Y
