DEDICATION Sandra Oplotnik, ass't. clerk, Mildred Oles, clerk, Kenneth Evans, member, Robert Pyle, member, Jesse Mitchell, member, Dr. R.V. Haderlein, vice-pres. 5 Robert Burns, pres. 3 Carl Mathis, member, Ted R. Tay- lor, Superintendent of Schools. BOARD OF EDUCATION We, the members of the 1965-1966 Trojan staff, take pride in dedicating this yearbook to the members of the Board of Education of Girard Rural High School. Although the school board meets once a month, Superintendent Taylor outlines all plans for their meetings and supervises all of the work the board plans. Mr. Taylor has worked diligently with the Board of Education for twenty-seven years. New facilities were badly needed after the disasterous fire on October 25, 1964. The members of the Board of Education did much to inform the public of the need for desirable educational facilities. Due to their work, the people of the area passed the bond issues in order to make the 31,275,000 building program possible. The members of the board include the following: Robert Burns, pres., 1 year, member, 11 years, Dr. R. V. Haderlein, pres. , 7 years, member, 11 years, Kenneth Evans, member, 11 years, Carl Mathis, member, 3 years, Robert Pyle, member, 3 years, Jesse Mitchell, member, 7 years, Mildred O. Oles, clerk, 25 years, and Sandra Oplotnik, assistant clerk, 5 years. 1 We-Wish to express our sincere appreciation to these people who have done so much and received so little for themselves in return.
