Riverton Over Girard 45-42 Girard. Dec. 3-Riverton handed the Girard Trojans a 45-42 defeat here tonight as both teams opened their basketball season. J. Gibson dropped nine field goals through and collected three hoe throws to lead' the game scoring with 21. Roger Everitt topped Trojan scor- ing with fourteen. Riverton grabbed an early lead and managed to hold onto it throughout the game. Big Gil- lard hlt fourteen points to lead the Trojan Bees to a 50-33 victory over the Riverton B squad. D.
